Gorgon PoisonsDani’s blog makes you appreciate the enthusiasm and anger of a young (Dani is in her 20’s) radical feminist. She provides links and commentary to various current events and websites that made her cry, rage, and learn. The Human WunderkammerEskarne writes anti-porn and anti-prostitution posts, comments on current events, and gives her perspective on various feminist issues. Mermaid’s GardenDis_senter has only recently made some of her journal open to public access, so the blog is still short. She critiques issues such as fantasy, horror movies, female genital mutilation, and the Miles Franklin award. Dis_senter is a committed radical feminist, and a Mary Daly fan. The Mistress of self-delusion rides again…Most of Dragort’s posts are comments on her day-to-day life: her job, uni work, and family. Occasionally she writes specifically on feminist issues, with a radical feminist analysis. At these times she is passionate, funny and refreshing. Spinning SistersSpinning Sisters is a creative blog edited by Allecto (Dani) and Dissenter. It has a strong radical feminist philosophy. Poetry, feminist rap music, a painting, personal stories and other creative works are published on this blog. Some highlights are an angry and witty letter to Mr Postmodernist by Michelle, and the terrible, painful, personal stories from Rebecca. This blog is guaranteed to inspire you with/by radical feminist creativity. Sympathetic BlogsThese blogs are not explicitly radical feminist, but may provide some interesting reading. Cause Knowledge is Power and Virulent FilthCause Knowledge is Power and Virulent Filth are by Cellycel, who calls herself a feminist anti-antifeminist. Cellycel writes angrily about misogyny, scathingly about men who mock women (and feminism), and with pain about rape. Cellycel also occasionally comments on current events. Feminists Don't Bake BreadAnna, Mags, BlueRevolutionist and Melle write on many topics, including criticising the beauty myth, gender stereotypes in fantasy books, holding women responsible for male violence, and the inequality of women in the workplace. They also have a focus on women, in opposition to the ‘what about the men’ argument. Searching For HegetoridesAlex is a male, anti male-violence worker. He critiques sexist and anti-feminist myths and mis-representations of domestic violence. Alex also comments on recent reports released about domestic violence.
